1940s pink/black moire day dress

Beautiful fitted dress in a fabric which feels like a heavy moire tafetta to me,it has belt loops but no belt, perhaps a plain black belt? original metal side zipper, gorgeous covered buttons and carries the label "Wayne Smith" Measurements are; bust up to 40 in. waist 32 in. and length shoulder to hem is 44 in.
